The brief

The client

Online store selling motivational, money-themed canvas prints to entrepreneurs worldwide

Artrich was a new online store selling canvas prints about money, luxury and hustle, featuring figures like Steve Jobs and Mike Tyson and the brand's own mascot, El Tigre. Canvases were printed on demand in the US, UK, Canada, Mexico, Spain and Australia, with free worldwide shipping.

The ask

The store needed almost all of its copy: an About page, descriptions for 100+ designs, a benefits block for every product page, an FAQ, shipping and refund policies, and the messages customers get after they buy.

Written for

Entrepreneurs, people in 9-5 jobs and students who want motivational art on their walls.

What I delivered

I wrote the About page, 100+ product descriptions, the product page benefits block, the FAQ, the shipping and refund policies, order confirmation text and three drafts of a thank-you card for the box.

The work

6 pieces, as delivered

Why it works 4 notes
  1. One mascot across the store

The About page introduces El Tigre as the brand's mascot for the hustling mindset, and the product descriptions keep coming back to him. This makes 100+ descriptions read as one brand voice.

  2. Descriptions explain the idea

The buyer can already see the image, so each description explains the idea behind the design in a short lesson or a joke, for example "you're just in a different time zone".

  3. Balance in the voice

Many descriptions and the thank-you card also tell buyers to use their money, relax and keep a balance. This stops the hustle theme from sounding harsh.

  4. Plain FAQ and policies

The FAQ and policy pages open with one friendly line, then give the answer and list the conditions clearly. People reading about returns or lost parcels want the rules.
